- Ongoing development and improvement of our products and features, including research and analysis to enhance the Service.
How Mirror is Funded
You have the option to use Mirror at no cost with advertisements.
By using Mirror you consent to seeing advertisements from companies and organizations that pay to promote their content on and off Mirror.
When we display ads, we strive to make them relevant and useful without disclosing your identity to advertisers. We do not sell your personal data. Advertisers can specify their goals and target audience, and we deliver their ads to users who may find them interesting.
We also share general reports with advertisers about how their ads perform, such as demographic and interest summaries, to help them understand their audience. We never share information that directly identifies you (like your name or email) unless you have given us explicit permission.
You may encounter branded content on Mirror, which is posted by users who have a commercial relationship with the brands or businesses mentioned.
For more information about how we collect and use your data, please review our Privacy Policy. You can also manage your ad preferences and control what types of ads and advertisers you see, as well as the information we use to personalize your ad experience.
Privacy Policy
To provide our services, we need to collect and use certain information about you. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we gather, use, and share your data across Mirror’s services. It also describes the various ways you can manage and control your information, including through privacy and security settings within Mirror.
Your Responsibilities
By using Mirror, you agree to uphold the following commitments:
Eligibility: To join our community, you must:
- Be at least 14 years old.
- Not be restricted from using our services under applicable laws or be listed on any denied parties lists related to payments.
- Not have had your account previously disabled for violating laws or our policies.
- Not be a registered sex offender.
Prohibited Conduct: To maintain a safe and welcoming environment, you must not:
- Impersonate others or provide false or misleading information. While you are not required to use your real identity, you must provide accurate and current details when registering, and you may not create accounts for others without their consent.
- Engage in illegal, deceptive, or unauthorized activities.
- Violate these Terms or any of our policies, or encourage others to do so.
- Post branded content. For more information on reporting content or conduct, see our Help Centre.
- Disrupt or interfere with the intended operation of Mirror, including misuse of reporting, dispute, or appeals channels.
- Attempt to create accounts or collect information in unauthorized ways, such as through automated means without our permission.
- Sell, license, or purchase any account or data obtained from Mirror or its services. This includes buying, selling, or transferring accounts, soliciting or collecting login credentials or badges, or misusing usernames and access tokens.
- Share someone else’s private or confidential information without consent, or infringe on others’ rights, including intellectual property rights. You may use others’ works only as permitted by law, and you must have the necessary rights to any content you post.
- Alter, translate, create derivative works from, or reverse-engineer any part of our products or their components.
- Use a domain name or URL in your username without our prior written approval.
Permissions You Grant Us
Although you remain the owner of your content, you provide us with permission to use it as necessary to operate our services. For example, when you upload or share content protected by intellectual property rights (like photos or videos), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, use, adapt, distribute, display, perform, translate, and create adaptations of your content, consistent with your privacy and app settings.
This license will expire once your content is removed from our systems. You may delete content individually or by closing your account. For more information about our use of your data or how to remove your content, please see our Privacy Policy or contact support@mirrordt.com.
You also give us permission to show your username, profile image, and details about your interactions (such as likes or follows) alongside or in connection with accounts, advertisements, offers, and other sponsored content you engage with, without any payment to you. Only those with access to the content or account will see these actions. Your advertising preferences will always be honored.
You acknowledge that we may automatically download and install updates to Mirror on your device as required.
Our Rights
If you select a username or similar identifier, we reserve the right to change it if needed (for example, if it infringes on someone else’s rights or is misleading).
If you use any content that is subject to our intellectual property rights and is made available through Mirror (such as images, designs, videos, or sounds we provide), we retain all rights to that content (but not to your own content).
You may only use our trademarks or intellectual property if you have our written approval.
You are not permitted to alter, adapt, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our products, or create derivative works from them, unless you have our explicit written consent or an open-source license that allows it.
Content Removal and Account Termination
We reserve the right to remove content or limit access if it breaches these Terms, our policies, or applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your account to protect the community or to comply with legal requirements.
If your account is deleted, these Terms (except for certain sections) will no longer apply to you.
Disputes and Legal Matters
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Amendments or waivers must be in writing and signed by us.
No third party is granted any rights under these Terms.
You are not permitted to assign or transfer any of your rights or responsibilities under this agreement without our prior approval.
We may transfer or assign our own rights and obligations to another party. This may happen, for instance, if there is a change in our ownership, such as through a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or as required by law.
We strive to provide our Service with reasonable skill and care, but we cannot promise that it will always operate without interruption, delay, or flaws. As long as we have fulfilled our obligations with due care, we are not liable for: any losses that do not result from our violation of these Terms or our actions; losses that neither you nor we could have reasonably anticipated when agreeing to these Terms; any content shared by other users that you may find offensive, inappropriate, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable; or for circumstances and events that are outside our reasonable control.
We provide the Service with reasonable care, but are not responsible for certain losses or disruptions beyond our control, except where prohibited by law.
Resolving Disputes
This service is intended exclusively for users located in Spain.
The company does not guarantee the availability or operation of the service outside of that territory, and is not responsible for its use by users residing in other countries.
Consumer, business or commercial disputes will be resolved in Malaga under Spanish law.
Feedback and Suggestions
We appreciate your feedback and suggestions, but may use them without any obligation to you.
Updates to These Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in our Service or policies. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice before changes take effect, and your continued use of Mirror after that means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you may delete your account through the Mirror service or by contacting us at support@mirrordt.com.
